We are so excited to share that we are having a 6th anniversary event this Saturday 8/2! Local country artist, Derek Heidel, will be preforming LIVE from 5PM-8PM and LINKED permanent jewelry will be set up as well. We will be cooking our signature brick oven pizzas along side our full menu and we will be doing giveaways every hours for guests who attend. We hope to see you!
Cooking with Julia : Julie Houston will present Back in the Day Cookbook with refreshments served from cookbook recipes.

The Upstage Music Festival, began in August 2021, as a way to not only showcase regional and national talent but, more importantly showcase local talent and our local community.
Every year we also choose local charities and nonprofits to raise funds and awareness. previous beneficiaries: The Clearfield Skate Park, Allegheny Spay and Neuter Clinic Clearfield Revitalization corp. Clearfield Volunteer Fire Department, and the Childrens Aid Society. The Upstage Music festival prides itself in a professionally run event, and a diverse collection of music genres. We also, have a variety of merchandise vendors and food vendors, from our local region.
We work very closely with our "local" sponsors as our aim is to raise awareness for not only our community but, our hardworking sponsors and supporters bringing people together through music.

Things Naturalists Do
8:30 PM—Campground Amphitheater
Park naturalists tend to be a bit quirky—in the eyes of others. We do things like call fireflies, mess with moths, pet bees—you now, quirky stuff. Come and learn some of the ways folks like me interact with nature for edification and enjoyment.

Hike Souders Trail
4:00 PM—meet in front of office
Join the park naturalist for a hike on the park’s shortest trail—Souders Trail. We will be looking for all interesting things, but in particular the relationships of fungus to their environment.
Fungi: PA’s Hidden Treasures
8:30 PM—Campground Amphitheater
Enjoy this informative video about our hidden treasures—fungi. This Wild Resource Conservation Program documentary is an award-winning video that looks at both the ecological and the economic importance of fungi, an under-appreciated but essential part of our ecosystem

Bring your own cup to sample some sweet fern/mountain mint tea grown right here in the park. Talk is, as always, whatever you want to talk about concerning the park. Come prepared with a topic or three.

Penn’s Adventurers

Penn’s Adventurers is open to those aged nine to 12 who are interested in learning more about the natural world. This year we will be exploring the concept of “umwelt” - the bubble of perception of various animals, insects, birds, and other life—and humans.

Bring your lawn chairs or blankets for an evening of watching the night sky for the Perseid Meteor Shower. Learn the difference between a meteor and a meteorite, comet, etc.

Rally your Teams the Next TRIVIA August 8 at the Winery!
The next few weeks promise to be amazing at Lower Witmer Park in Clearfield. Various local musicians will be performing under the gazebo every Friday night from 7 til 9.
Donations will be collected for Freedom House - a women's residential program based in Osceola Mills. Invite your friends, bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy our beautiful downtown park and river while listening to local, live music with your Corner Concert community. Sponsored by BioGraphics.
