    In May 2014 Curwensville Borough and the surrounding communities within their school district became one of six Pennsylvania participants in the FHLBank of Pittsburgh "Blueprint Communities" training program. A ten member team of local leaders were selected to attend this competitive training program over the next eight months an they will work with the community residents to develop a comprehensive plan to make their area the best place to live, work and play.
