Grice Community Museum

Over 70 antique and classic auto’s as well as over 700 trophy game mounts of animals form around the world. You will lean the story of Scoot and Janet Grice and the historical highlights of their business and community contribution.

Parker Dam State Park – No Charge

This park has a little bit of everything....trails, swimming, education programs and camping!! You will also learn about neighboring state park S.B. Elliott State Park home to one of the state’s National Historical Sites for Civilian Conservation Corps architecture.

Enjoy a nice picnic lunch at Parker Dam State Park or stop at Medix Hotel and enjoy the fresh air as you sit and eat out on the deck. Benezette Hotel also has a great menu with a variety of items to choose from.

Elk Country Visitors Center

Enjoy the beautiful scenery and fall foliage as you travel on the West Branch Susquehanna Byway and the Elk Scenic Byway through the Quehanna Wilds. As you tour through the wilds you will learn there is something for everyone.

The Elk Country Visitors Center is the premier location in the Northeastern United States for seeing and experiencing elk in a natural setting. The visitor’s center was designed to provide live, year round opportunities to see and hear these amazing animals.....from trails, viewing area and from their indoor Great Room.

You can enrich your visit by exploring an array of educational exhibits, multimedia experiences and hands-on learning opportunities. There is something for everyone....children, families and visitors of all kinds. And of course, just beyond our Visitor Center lies the Pennsylvania Wilds with over two million acres of rivers, forests,towns and historical sites.
